vampiros Pergunta

Why are vampiros so appealing? mais perguntas inside....

While I know my personal reasons for liking vampires, the literature, films and the specific appeal from my own point of view, I am mais interested in the appeal for others. I don't think my own reasons can simply be universal.

So here are my perguntas aimed at YOU:
-why do you like vampires?
-When do you turn to vampire fiction/ films?
-What do you do with your interest in Vampires?
-What else in your life is driven por your interest?
-what is the most appealing part of vampires/ vampiric lore?
-what is the least appealing?

I understand if these are not the kind of things you are used to or want to discuss, however you cannot deny that your interest in vampiros is much deeper than surface interest, or that it is mais than commercially superficial. Doesn't it make you wonder?....

Interesting question. I've always loved vampiros since I was 9 years old, and even now, at the age of 19, I still can't deny my admiration for them. I like to believe it has something to do with a sinister appeal; a amor for the dark side, and a forbidden sexuality. vampiros have come a long way from their beginning. It's interesting to see the evolution of these amazing creatures in fantasy, from Nosferatu, to Dracula, and even the teen/tweeny-bopper stuff they have now such as Twilight (but I prefer the original stuff, myself. Sorry Twi-hards!).
I have always had a kind of a dark side, and on the side of vampires, witches have always been another favorito of mine, and I believe that it's the sinister side that we are forced to repress in our daily lives, that makes these creatures so attractive. Anyone, such as myself, who has always had a connection with the darker things in life would find a something like a vampire arousing. They revolve around our fear and desire. It is almost like a fetish for fear. In the kind of stories about vampiros that I like and enjoy composição literária myself, typically they are these voluptuous creatures that seduce you for your blood. I could never get into the Twilight series because I felt those vampiros were too soft. They didn't carry that sinister appeal like the typical vampire does. To me, vampiros should be evil. They should be frightening and they should be creatures of the night (which means no glittering in the sun; once again, sorry, Twi-hards). In my view, the modern filmes and TV shows are taking away from vampiros what made them so appealing to begin with, and this is just my opinion. My obsession for the vampire has always been their sinister outlook and bloody appetite. And although I've spoken a lot about the seductive vampire, I also enjoy the vampire on his mais hideous side, such as Nosferatu and the mais modern 40 days of night, as those bring an exciting thrill.
I'd like to conclude that everyone will be different in their attraction to these beautiful, night creatures, and that I'm not bashing anyone on their opinions. But I will always have my vampire obsession for the same reason I always have; they're blood-lusting seductive killers which I cannot deny a amor for. And, all-in-all, they and witches (which is a whole other topic) will always hold the gold medal, for me, in creatures of folk-lore.

You asked me what my least favorito thing about them was, but I guess I can't really answer that question, or at least not with the original vampire, that is. I guess I just amor them too much. But if I had to pick...I guess...er...they have to be invited to come in? I don't know. I can tell you that I hate "True Blood" lol. Have a nice day:)

I like vampiros because of the forbidden excitement that the creatures of night have. They are so mysterious and consuming and dangerous and I amor it. I am always leitura or watching something about vampires, a little obsessive, but I cant help it. I dont do much with my interest, but I have adapted some of the mysterious qualities to myself. Well, uhm, my "personal" life, to put it lightly, is driven por my interest. The most appealing qualities are, well, most of them. I dont like the whole "invited in" thing, nor do I like the whole no reflection thing, I like to see myself in the mirror.
