I think that there will be some kinda show down between them but I think that maybe Bella will get hurt in the process or something like that and they will both realise that they both love Bella and they dont need to fight. I also think that Jacob will inprint on someone in the end because I think Stephanie Myer will give the series a happy ending :)

In my option, Jacob has NO more use for the series. He was there to stir the pot and for drama purposes. I don't think that Jacob was a well liked as Meyer hoped he'd be. There are someone people who like him, but no a whole lot.

I was just thinking... IF Bella turns, what if she and Jacob have to fight, but he basically lets her kill him because he feels living without Bella is moot anyway. I will be SO depressed if that happens.......

Oh and as for Jacob not having a lor of fans, there are actually an incredible number of Jacob-fans and he is very well loved by a lot of Pro-Edward fans too. Thankfully, I've come across few people (three to be exact) who think that Jacob was just a tool. Most mature fans agree that Jacob became a major character, full of human flaws but he is loved for his human traits - both good and bad.

I don't think Jacob and Edward will fight. He may not show up to the wedding, but they won't fight. I think the last chapter of Eclipse proves that Jacob has finally realized that he has to move on because Bella didn't choose him. I love Jacob and I would be very surprised if he doesn't end up imprinting

Yeah...You notice that I didn't say EVERYONE hated him. There are some girls, who think that he is cute...I am not one of them, but to each their own. Also, I like character with flaws it makes them more real, but the problem is that this character doesn't think he is in the wrong at all.
