Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:

won 11 Oscars and cemented Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet‘s status as Hollywood superstars when it premiered in December 1997. (It probably also gave a new generation of movie-goers a fear of boats.)
Now, 20 years later, it’s being re-released in theaters, and diehard fans of the period/disaster drama can get an insider’s look at the making of the film with the National Geographic’s documentary 
Titanic: 20 Years Later with James Cameron.

director James Cameron, the one-hour program will “examine what Cameron got right from a historic and scientific perspective and what he got wrong,” according to the network.
Cameron will also interview the descendants of real Titanic passengers John Jacob Astor, Molly Brown, and Isidor and Ida Straus and conduct an experiment to test whether more lifeboats really would have saved more lives.
The RMS Titanic sank on its maiden voyage from the United Kingdom to New York on April 15, 1912. More than 1,500 of the estimated 2,224 passengers and crew members died.
