So we tried sleeping again. We all stayed awake this time though, cus we sooo didn't want the insistent to happen again.
Bloom: wow, I can't picture us turning evil, especially not Flora!
Flora: oi I can turn evil as often as I want! Hm!
Stella: I don't want to. We MUST have had TERRIFYING cloths!
Layla: gee it would probably give us good exersize!
Tecna: it's so. Illogical! Who has ever heard of the bad winx?

A Watered-Down Romance

I think I've figured out a reason the fãs reject Aisha and Nex as a couple. Unlike the other couples, they haven't had many romantic scenes. They've never said, "I amor you." They've never kissed. (They were about to on their date, but Squonk interrupted them.) Their romance feels weak.

I blame Nickbow. In seasons 1-4, the couples were mais affectionate with each other. We often saw them kissing, cuddling, hugging, etc. It felt mais appropriate for their age group.

But from season five onward, the romance has been toned down. There's not much cuddling anymore and almost no kissing. When Aisha...
