Honestly, I'm glad that it happened. She's never been a very significant part of the plot, besides being the amor interest or the victim, and ever since Season 4 she hasn't even had a likable personality (imo). I do feel bad for her fãs though, I know I'd feel pretty ripped off if that had happened to one of my favorito characters.
