I am far mais drawn to the evil-natured, alluring, vampiros who embrace their nature. I like vampiros that bring out what vampiros are; blood-sucking beast who have an inherent otherworldly, alluring aspect to them.

But “The Vampire Diaries” transforms this cliché into something much mais compelling and honest. What happens when the hero becomes the villain and the brother who once was the show’s Big Bad becomes reliable and caring?

Her reasons for choosing Stefan are very wishy-washy, almost citing obligation and a sense of safety for her choice. She never actually turns down Damon, either, telling him that, if only they had met first, she might amor him more.
