For the 1000,000 time the sire bond does NOT effect feelings just actions,and seeing that this like 4th or 5th time she does NOT do what he said it's clearly there's NO sire bond in the first place

^ But noone sais the sire bond affects feelings, sorry of I didn't write the question precisely.
We were told that the sire bond IS THE RESULT of feelings - humans feelings magnified by vampirism. So my question is, when Elena turned all of her feelings off, is she still sired to Damon?
Probably the most important reason I believe she isn't sired anymore is the fact, that Damon saying to Elena after few episodes "turn it on" & Elena getting back to her old self would be basically predictable & boring. I think they will have to struggle more to bring back her humanity than just use the "SB button". What means she cannot be sired anymore...

Yeah, I never thought there was a sire bond in the first place. I don't think she is sired to him I think there is another explanation or she just does what he says because she can. I don't see the big deal in that. the episode was so sad I was crying through most of it. Plus Damon didn't tell her not to burn the house down. He said it but he didn't tell her not to in a Sire tone type way. So I don't think that it proves anything. She could still be sired if she ever really was, but I don't think that it's a big deal. They are just going to have to deal with no humanity Elena for a while now. Can't wait to see it.

Yes i think it's broken at least for now. Because the sire bond is based on human feelings. If she has no feelings (not for Damon and not for everyone), there's no sire bond. But this is all depends on the famous 'switch' thing, because Rose said in the beginning it can work, but then it's all about pretending.
