No there is a max of 8 Sims per household. I usually have 2-6 Sims at a time. But I usually get error code 12 or 16 and have to start another game with the same Sims each time. But is this picture funny that I took? It happened at Sims 3 universidade life at night getting burglar in the house and got 3 burglar alarms and the burglar got taken por the police.

Thanks for that. I find it very funny because 2 of my sims have a Valente trait which, Rena and Keiichi has the brae trait and fought the burglar 1 at a time even the butler.
