Micky's father, himself an established tv star, had Micky audition for the role at his own agent's suggestion. 'Circus Boy' debuted September 23rd, 1956 on NBC, switching to ABC in September, 1957. The final episode aired on September 11, 1958, reappearing in sydnicated reruns on Sunday mornings from October 1958 through September 1960. Between then and the Monkees TV show, he worked under the same name name, Micky Braddock, with roles in shows such as 'Peyton Place', Playhouse 90' and 'Mr. Novak'.
