cosplay help?

ok so im not going to a con or anything- in fact i usually just closet cosplay por myself... in my room... alone... :(..... but anyways! i waned to do a haruhi suzumiya costume but i cant get to a fabric store or anything. i need fabric for the skirt, shirt, headband, arm thing, and black socks. and i cant get it cuz im broke and my dad thinks cosplaying is weird... geez this my be asking a bit much, but does anyone know have any genius ideas for me? possibly three wishes? anybody? help? please?

Ebay? You could, i don't know, sell something on ebay, then purchase something with that money then sell the item you bought for mais money and repeat until rich ( or until you have enough to purchase the fabric)

I'm not a huge cosplay fã either but my friends are and when ever something like this comes they work for the money or just beg me. So why not do some jobs around the house for money and then use it to get the fabric or por a cheapish cosplay outfit
