does anyone think that it would be extremely hard to get wanda right for the movie. I thought rosamund pique, lúcio or emile de raven would be great until i realised that they are both too old.
How old is Wanda/Mel again? Isn't she supposed to be in her twenties? Because I think Emilie would be a nice choice, if they were to cast her, even if she is 28. She looks pretty and younger than she actually is. But Wanda/Mel is supposed to be a brunette, and when Wanda gets her own body, she becomes a petite blonde. Is the blonde Wanda what you're talking about?

Well, Wanda is 1000 years or so, but Pet's body is 16 I think.
Pet's body is 16 almost 17 years old. When Wanda is asked how old the body is, she lies and says her 18th birthday is seguinte week, but in reality it's her 17th birthday.
Well when Melanie is remembering Jared towards the beginning of the book, it was a flashback, but I'm referring to the end of the book when Wanda is first put into Pet's body.
OH. Yeah, I remember now. Haha. Damn, I need to refresh my memory. Well, I hope they find a really good person for her. She needs to look oober sweet and vulnerable ;D
I haven't seen much of ann-sophia robb but she sounds ok. the problem with makeup and technichs trying to make people look younger is that it can ennd up really fake and not work. If you have seen hating alison ashley you will know what i am talking about
I completely agree Gnunganunga. My boyfriend's sister is a makeup artist and she says they can only do so much and still make it look realistic. I think whoever plays her will probably need to be under 22-23 years old.
Yeah, I thought it was very hard to find a good Wanda. When I first started thinking about it, each actress I came up with was either way too tall or old. I finally came across Anna Sophia Robb. She is the right age, height, and looks. Plus, she is a good actress. I've seen some of her independent films and her atuação is superb in them. Other decent suggestions I have seen are: Hannah Lochner, Taylor Momsen, and Amanda Seyfried (but Amanda might be too old in the seguinte few years).
I agree, it will be a tough cast. But I say what difference does it really make how old the acctresses are? As long as they appear to fit the descrição look and age-wise? They are atrizes after all...they always play something they're not:)
yeah but but with all that make up technics the filmes have I'm sure they could make anyone under 25 years look like her. Personally I think Emile is perfect
