Quick question! Do you say that you are the Sixth Gun or you are holding on to the Sixth Gun?

I'm pretty sure that when Ruki mention about the Sixth Gun he describe it as the fãs holds on to the Sixth Gun but I've been looking around and everyone is calling themselves the Sixth Gun... I know it's kinda trivial but it has been bugging me a lot these days...
