I personally hate her.... she changed john so much, and as much as she made him "happy" he would of been just fine without her, there are millions of girls out there that john could of chose so its not like she was his only option... if you look at john in his younger years he was a funny, loving, joker with alot headed for him.... after yoko came he was a different person, a hippy who was her puppet; she changed john and i did not like it at all..... HATE HATE HATE yoko.
amor you john <3

Everybody hates Yoko Ono because people think she's the main reason why the beatles broke up, but other than that she made John Lennon the happiest person in the world. i think that Yoko Ono is a loving person <3

Oh gosh, I have a love-hate relationship with her. I was watching a documentary about John, and it said that she would always sit in when he was recording, and I always thought that was kind of too much. But that's just my opinion, she does seem like a cool lady, though :]

Have you ever read Geoff Emerick's book "Here, There and Everywhere"? I have. Now I hate her. She was one of the reasons why the Beatles broke up in my opinion. I can't stand her.

Well, first of all Yoko didn't break up the band the guys themselves did. cause they were diffting further and further apart from each other so.
Plus Yoko made John the happiest man in the world so I appreciate her alot. Plus she is my segundo fav beatle wife :)

i agree completely. the beatles broke up the beatles, not yoko. it really bothers me when people blame their break up on her. i really admire her. she's so calm and cool, and like you said, she made john very happy. it makes me sad that she gets so much hate.

No, I think she made John NEGLECT his duties as head of the Beatles, causing Paul to take over, realizing too late that he wasn't good at it.

People underestimate Yoko in a lot of areas. She not only made John happy, but eventually, grew him up to be responsible, a good Dad, and play por the rules to a degree. Mostly though...and many don't know this...she was very, very savvy with finances and investments. Her ideas and imagens for many of the post-Beatle ideas were both successful and profitable. I DO NOT blame her solely for the breakup of the Beatles....John found the someone he needed mais than Paul McCartney...and that was too much for die-hard fãs to take...but it was the truth.

Are you saying that you aren't a die-hard Beatles fan, then?

Also, why should John have to choose between Paul and Yoko? Why does falling in amor mean his best friend is no longer needed? That simple fact proves something was off.

And nobody cares about any of that maturity stuff. It was John's refusal to play por the rules that made him so loveable. I'd much rather have an immature John in the Beatles than a mature John out of them.

I can't say for sure because obviously I've never met her, but I think she was a woman who had already been through two bad marriages and didn't want to risk the same thing happening with her third. She shouldn't have controlled John like she did, of course, but that's my theory as to why she did it. And of course, Yoko didn't know anything about the Beatles (!!!) so when she first came into the studio, she might've thought the Beatles were always fighting, that John had never been happy with them, maybe even that Paul forced him to cadastrar-se against his will. Did she know how much the band had once meant to John? And so I think John was partly responsible, too - Yoko shouldn't be so controlling, but how can she know what John really wants if John doesn't tell her?
In conclusion, I don't like the things Yoko did, but I can sort of understand why she did them. At least she never remarried after John. You have to give her credit for that.

Yes, she shouldn't have done that. That was kind of obsessive of her, too - I think it means their relationship wasn't healthy.
