The episode starts in the School Cafeteria, on a mesa, tabela with Carrie, Gumball, and Darwin, each with trays of comida in front of them. Gumball and Darwin are loudly and visibly enjoying their food. Carrie is offended por this, explaining that ghosts can't eat or taste. She demonstrates por putting a lump of comida in her mouth, only to have it fall through her body and back onto the plate. She wishes she still had a body to use, but, at this point, Darwin tells her that she could use Gumball. Gumball is taken aback por this suggestion but before he could say anything, Carrie had already possessed him....

The episode opens with Richard struggling to open a box of margarida Flakes, when he gives up and throws the box away, claiming it to be "useless". Gumball and Darwin come up to him, complaining that they don't feel like going to school today. Richard tells them that they must go to school anyways because they're still kids and they have no control over their lives. Richard hands them what is apparently their cereal box while Gumball and Darwin dreamily describe what they'd do if they were men.

Later that morning, Gumball and Darwin are riding the bus to school when they happen to see a Shooting...
