	judesmommy picked Richard Donner version (released in 2006): This is a difficult choice (even though I made this question), because I grew up watching Lester's cut. I think if Donner's vision had actually been completed, it would be extraordinary. posted over a year ago.

	Hellvette picked Richard Lester version (original theatrical version): I did like the Richard Donner version but still prefer the original release, but Richard Donner's version did cut out a lot of unnecessary scenes which weren't really needed. posted over a year ago.

	william_laughs picked Richard Donner version (released in 2006): In retrospect, the Lester version seemed a little smarmy. The bellhop at Niagra Falls, the rube telling Ursa to plant her "sweet cheeks" on his lap, and so on. And the Donner Cut has a better beginning even if the ending is weak. posted over a year ago.
