Is grave of the fireflies sadder than le mis?

I didn't find Le Miserables sad at all; I didn't get attached to any of the characters, so when one died I was actually relieved because it was one less person singing. Definitely my least favourite film; it gave me no emotion apart from extreme boredom.

Grave of the Fireflies was very sad, though. It's just my opinion, but I would say yes, Grave of the Fireflies was a much sadder film than Le Miserables.

I actually haven't sat down and watched Grave because I'm I don't feel like putting myself through it especially since I know what's going to happen. Le mis did have me crying at the end though
