If you answered yes then The Host is perfectly fine and you have nothing to worry about. Even if you answered no, the most intimate chapters in The Twilight Saga makes anything remotely intimate in The Host seem even with Harry Potter romance. So finally, my answer to your pergunta is...in my opinion....if you have a 14 ano old that wants to read anything written por Stephanie Meyer she can get her hands on, definitely encourage it all the way. If you still have any qualms about it, read it for yourself first and make your own judgement since you are the only one who knows your daughter well enough to know if she is ready for the book.(You will enjoy it too!) I hoped this helped you some.
