Stefan and Elena have a true amor story, they have a buildup. From the beginning of the show they had passion and epic written all over them.

Interviewer: Was there a debate in the writer's room as to whether she would choose Stefan or Damon in this episode, or did you always agree that it would be Stefan?

Julie Plec: We were heading toward the end of the road knowing that as a human, Stefan was Elena's choice. We also knew what was going to happen at the end of the episode. Elena is no longer a human when she wakes up and when the memories come back and when her whole life goes upside-down. Who's to say what that does to her? Who's to say what kind of person she becomes, and how that impacts who she loves and why she loves them? I'm not saying that's going to send her running instantly into Damon's arms, absolutely not, but it's going to nuvem the issue even more.

I was leitura some reviews of the episode "The Hybrid". Mostly the reviews were positive, except some minor details, but the one that stuck in my head was the negative one. The person who wrote it was really.. harsh. To every part of the episode. But, that person pointed out one thing I've seen some other people agree with. Here it goes:
