I think he just loves himself and hates everyone but probably hates SpongeBob more

Squidward is a snob. He thinks that he's better than everybody else and he's miserable coz he sucks as a musician

Actually squidward loves spongebob deep inside(like that episode when squidward thought spongebob ate a bomb and was about to die),but he's just afriad to show his ture feelings or maybe he doesn't realize it,but he does amor spongebob,very much.
