I’ve read through a lot of heated discussion boards that debate “Who will Sookie end up with,” and/or “Who is best for her.” In most cases those two generally don’t mix. I often find that the “cards” are stacked against logic, but I can’t help but try to sift through the nonsense to appease my need to feel captivated por the heroine’s romantic destiny. The fourth book is a pivotal and paramount book in the series in terms of Eric & Sookie. In the 1st chapter Bill confronts Sookie. He tried to explain but the bottomline was that he lied, raped and nearly killed her in the trunk. He wasn't the "great-guy" or "knight in shining armor" that she had built him up to be.
