Shadouge Story
Chapter One
'I wonder where that little bat went,' Shadow thought to himself. He was standing at the edge of a corner of an alley. He sighed. He held his pistol in his hands. The Sonic gang was still there. He and Rouge needed to destroy them NOW. Where was she? Shadow perked his ears. What the hell?
He saw white figure appear out of nowhere. The white figure was Rouge! Shadow leaped in the battle. Rouge had kicked Amy Rose in the face. Shadow tackled Sonic. The two hedgehogs rolled on the alley's ground. Water puddles splashed on their faces. Shadow had accidentally dropped his gun while heading towards Sonic's direction. Sonic punched Shadow's face. Shadow slammed his fist at Sonic's neck, trying to paralyze the blue hedgehog. Amy Rose had run away, trying to get mais help. Tails was fighting Rouge. Rouge trapped the 8 ano old in her arms, kissed his cheek, and pushed him away. (From an episode of Sonic X. Never saw it, but saw it on YouTube. XD)
Sonic rolled Shadow on to the black hedgehog's black. Shadow groaned in pain. That hurt painfully. Sonic saw Shadow's pistol. He started reaching for it. Shadow tackled Sonic once more, rolling away from the weapon.
"What are you thinking about doing with that, blue hedgie?" Shadow mocked. He pushed Sonic into the wall. Sonic was filled with dust from the brick wall. Shadow pushed Sonic so hard, making a dent in the wall. "Like taking doces from a baby," Shadow remarked.
"Please...Shadow! What do you want?" Sonic gasped as Shadow gripped at Sonic's neck, hard. Shadow glared his amber eyes.
"Where's the emerald?" Shadow asked.
"What emerald?" Sonic was trying to breathe.
"The Master Emerald, you blue bastard!" Shadow growled, gripping tighter around Sonic's neck. "Don't try to lie bastard."
Sonic blinked a couple times. "With Knuckles...somewhere. I don't know!"
"Where do you think it is?" Shadow asked.
"Maybe near...the mountains," Sonic suggested. Shadow let go of the blue hedgehog's neck. Shadow kicked the helpless hedgehog's side. Sonic groaned in pain as he lied on the ground on his front side. He clenched his tan belly. He had one eye opened and one eye tight shut. He watched as Shadow and Rouge walked away from the fight. Sonic smirked. He almost lied.
Shadow walked off with Rouge por his side.
"Where is it?" Rouge asked softly, once they got to the edge of town.
"Sonic said near the mountains," Shadow grumbled. He clenched his fists. He had forgotten his weapon! "Goddamn it!" Shadow gritted his teeth. Rouge looked at him.
"What now?" She asked.
"I forgot my weapon," Shadow said.
"Again?"
Shadow nodded. "Go get it for me."
Rouge put her hands on her hips. "What am I, your maid?" Shadow shrugged. Rouge gasped in shocked. She mumbled something under her breath flew up in the air, flew away, and soon got back with his pistol in her hand. She landed seguinte to him. "Shadow!!" she panted as she handed his gun to him.
"What?" he asked, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Sonic! Amy! Tails! Heading to the mountains," she replied, panting. "They said something that the master esmeralda really is there!" Shadow looked towards the mountains.
"That little blue bastard wasn't lying! We got to get there before they do! I'll run, you fly," Shadow said. Shadow started running at the speed of sound. He looked up to the sky. He saw Rouge flying. Something about her, made Shadow feel warm inside. Like when Maria was still alive. Shadow had loved Maria. But he felt as if...he was still alone for so many years until Rouge found him. He felt his coração reconnected. He felt as if something was missing for over 50 years. And now...Rouge somehow made that something come all together. Was he...no he can't be...

Chapter Two
As Shadow reached near the topo, início of one of the mountains, Rouge landed seguinte to him. She saw Shadow's amber eyes glaring with fury. She laid her hand on his shoulder. He jumped a little as she did. He looked at her and lightly smiled. Rouge smiled back. They looked up the mountain, they both saw a green emerald. Huge. Shadow smirked.
"That's it," Shadow whispered.
"We have to fight Knuckles for it," Rouge said softly. They turned back to each other and nodded. Rouge flew up, Shadow ran up. Shadow saw Knuckles, dozing off. When Knuckles saw Shadow, he jerked awake. Shadow smirked a sly smile.
"Hello little bastard number 2," Shadow greeted. Knuckles clenched his fists together.
"What do you want, Shadow?" Knuckles growled.
Shadow laid his ears back. "The emerald." Shadow started walking towards Knuckles. Rouge flew down seguinte to Shadow. Knuckles gasped.
"You joined forces with the black hedgehog?" Knuckles snapped at Rouge.
Rouge nodded. "Yeah."
"You racist!" Shadow made a little joke.
"Always joking, aren't you Shads?" Knuckles asked. Shadow got pissed off.
"You little red bastard!" Shadow leaped at Knuckles, rolling down the mountain. They were punching, and kicking each other hard. Rouge started going after the emerald. Sonic came running up to her, kicking her down.
Shadow saw Rouge, on the ground. He silently gasped to himself. He continued rolling down the mountain with Knuckles in his grasp. Shadow let go of Knuckles. Shadow started running up the mountain back to Rouge. Knuckles kept tumbling down, unable to stop himself. Shadow ignored him and went up to Rouge's rescue. Shadow saw Rouge getting the beating of a lifetime. As Sonic leaped at Rouge once again, Shadow jumped in front of Rouge, taking the blow por Sonic. Sonic was doing his spin roll (thing...forget what's its actually called. XD). Shadow tumbled off the edge of mountains. He heard Rouge calling after him.
"Shadow!!" She cried. Shadow suddenly perked up. He got his balance and slid on the side of the mountain. He started running up the side. Rouge started flying up through the air. She came down por Shadow, grabbing his shoulders and flying back up through the air. Shadow looked shocked. He looked up at Rouge.
"Thanks," he said softly.
"You’re welcome," she said. She paused then added, "Shads."
Shadow seemed to smiled. This time. It was a smile that wasn't there for a long time.

Chapter Three
Shadow was carried off por where he lived. He had his own house now. Rouge dropped him off por the door. She stood por his side. He glanced at her quickly and unlocked the door. He turned to her. She was looking down at her feet.
"Thank you, Rouge," Shadow finally said.
"You’re welcome, Shads," Rouge said back. "It wasn't a big deal."
"You saved my ass," Shadow replied. His amber eyes raising to hers.
"And you saved mine," she shot back softly. "You know, Shadow, we're partners and partners stick together. We're going to be saving each other's asses all the time. So no big deal. You can't die."
"But you can," Shadow said. He took her hand and patted it. "I'll be there to catch you when you fall. Fly with you when you need someone there for you. And save you before you die." (Aww!!) He let go of her hand and walked inside his house. He turned back before going all the way through. "Bye Rouge."
"For now," Rouge added. She took off. Shadow watched her. Rouge just flew away, without looking back. Shadow sighed and walked in his house.
Rouge flew off to the forest. She lived outside of town. She was an agent but at the same time. She worked with Shadow. She flew to her favorito spot of the forest. Middle árvore of the whole forest. She flew down to one of the branches and sat down. She put her knees to her chest. She put her head in her hands.
"How could I be so stupid?" she told herself. She shook her head. She looked up from her hands. She had her communication device on her wrist in case of any danger. She sighed heavily. That's how her and Shadow talked to each other when they were separated from each other.
Rouge looked over at the sunset. She watched it for a few segundos then her device beeped. She looked down at it. Shadow! She answered it por clicking on a button on top. She blinked and answered, "Hello?"
"Hey Rouge," Shadow's voice said. She couldn't see him but only heard him.
"What is it?" Rouge asked.
"I want you to..." he paused for a little time.
"Shadow?"
"I need you to come over to my place tomorrow," he said, sounding frightened. He paused again. "With some jewels..."
Rouge looked down at her device. She sighed. "Alright. What time?"
Shadow paused again. "Noonish would be fine."
"Any type of clothing?"
"Yeah...anything," Shadow answered, pausing to say good bye. "Bye Rouge." He hung up.
"Wait!" she couldn't ask why she had to bring jewels tomorrow. Oh well, she would find out tomorrow.
Shadow was tied to a chair in his own home. He had rope tied on his wrists. His armas out of reach. The house was dark. One light was shining on him. He looked helpless. He felt helpless. He was scared but yet he wasn't.
"Where are you? Who are you?" Shadow called out to whoever captured him.
"An old friend," a girl's voice growled. Shadow saw a twinkle from a faca or a gun. He wasn't sure. He saw icy blue eyes.
"Seriously, what do you want from me?"
"The emeralds," the voice said. It sounded familiar but Shadow couldn't figure it out. "You owe me big time Shadow. Or should I say, Shads?"
"Only my...friends can call me that," Shadow snapped.
"Oh I was a friend all right," the voice answered. "A close friend. I trusted you! You turned your back on me! You said you would help me destroy Eggman! And what do you do? You turn to Eggman for help. You left me to rot in jail for three years!"
"I'm sorry for whoever you are!" Shadow started getting the memory back.
"Shads, I'm the one who helped you in a time of need," the voice added quietly. Footsteps came closer to Shadow. Shadow squinted. The person came in the light. It was a girl. A cream colored cat with icy blue eyes and tan/brown hair. She had a green, but dusty, tank topo, início on. She wore short shorts. She held a pistol in one paw. With the other paw, she played with the barrel.
"Should I kill you?" she asked.
"Moss! Please! Spare me!" Shadow said.
"Ah, the great Shadow the Hedgehog, asking to spare him," Moss said.
"PLEASE!" Shadow exclaimed as she stopped playing with the gun. She pointed it at Shadow and cocked the gun.

Chapter Four
Rouge started flying home. She fell asleep on her bed.
Waking up the seguinte morning, she saw it was 9:00 a.m.! Crap… Rouge thought. She was going to be late for work! Although she did have a half hour. She walked to her closet. She opened it. She saw her work clothes. A short tank topo, início with short shorts. She saw her gun hanging there. She never put it there. She walked up to it, she saw a note there. She opened it.
Help your friend, Rouge. He’s at home, tied up. Come on scaredy cat.
Rouge closed the note back up. She glared at it. She threw it across the room, mad. Dang it. Who was the…Wait a minute, Rouge started thinking. She saw the word “cat” on the note. Usually people would put, “bat” not “cat” on a note. Could it be…? No… It couldn’t be her. Rouge clenched her fists. She got her work clothes on, getting her gun, wrapping it around her, and then she headed out.
Rouge flew to work. She walked in the door. Her boss seemed surprised. “Hey boss, I have to take the dia off.” She looked at him in the eye.
“Why is that?” her boss questioned.
“Friend in danger,” Rouge replied.
Her boss nodded. “You may go rescue them then.” He dismissed her. Rouge nodded. She walked off. She went out of work. She flew up in the air to Shadow’s home. She spotted it. She flew down.
She opened the door and walked inside. “Hello?” She screamed as someone wrapped a rope behind her back and put a rag over her mouth. She got blindfolded right away and dragged off.
Shadow heard a scream por the door. “Rouge?!” He was, too, blindfolded. His mouth was not covered. He was still tied to the chair. The blindfold came away from his eyes. His amber eyes saw Rouge tied up to another chair across the room from him. “Rouge!”
“Shut it, Shadow,” Moss mewed back. She undid the blindfold over Rouge’s eyes.
“What do you want, Moss?” Shadow snapped.
“I want to know what Eggman is up to,” Moss growled back. She glared her icy blue eyes and her ears binding backwards. Shadow looked back.
“He’s planning on…blowing up Team Gold’s HQ.” Shadow looked away. He knew Moss was leader of Team Gold. Team Gold was her only family. She didn’t have anyone else. That’s what she thought. When she was young, Kaitlynn the Cat and Shadow found her. They took her in until she was 7 years of age. She ran away and forgot about Kaitlynn and him. He didn’t mind. He was happy about that.
Moss and Shadow actually were dating for a little bit before he tried destroying Team Gold. Moss was put in jail for trying to kill Shadow. Shadow set a court encontro, data with the two of them. He won and she lost. He regretted putting her in jail. She no longer wore her nice long gloves. She had cuts along her arm from fights in jail. She was…much mais mean than she usually was.
Moss’s icy blue eyes widened with fear than narrowed to a glaring stare. “When?”
“Two days and two nights,” Rouge answered, scared to death.
“I should kill one of you and let one of you go,” Moss started to say.
“Kill me! Let her go!” Shadow blurted out. “Just don’t hurt her!” Moss looked shocked. Her icy blue eyes widened again. She grew a sly expression across her face. She walked behind Rouge’s chair. She pulled out a knife. Moss wrapped her arms around Rouge’s neck, faca ½ inch to Rouge’s neck. Rouge stretched out her neck to avoid the cut and death.
Shadow was running out of patience. He growled. “Mossriver! Put the faca down!”
“Why should I?” Moss asked. Her head close to Rouge, sly eyes.
“Because…” Shadow paused. He had to answer his own pergunta that he asked himself a dia ago. Was he in amor with his partner, Rouge the Bat?
“Because why?” Rouge started on the questions.
“Spit it out, Shadow! Why should I kill you and not Rouge?” Moss demanded, her voice raising.
Shadow was looking down at the floor. He looked up. He smiled softly. He opened his mouth.
“Because I fell in amor with her,” Shadow said softly.

“Shut it, Shadow,” Moss mewed back. She undid the blindfold over Rouge’s eyes.
“What do you want, Moss?” Shadow snapped.
“I want to know what Eggman is up to,” Moss growled back. She glared her icy blue eyes and her ears binding backwards. Shadow looked back.
“He’s planning on…blowing up Team Gold’s HQ.” Shadow looked away. He knew Moss was leader of Team Gold. Team Gold was her only family. She didn’t have anyone else. That’s what she thought. When she was young, Kaitlynn the Cat and Shadow found her. They took her in until she was 7 years of age. She ran away and forgot about Kaitlynn and him. He didn’t mind. He was happy about that.
Moss and Shadow actually were dating for a little bit before he tried destroying Team Gold. Moss was put in jail for trying to kill Shadow. Shadow set a court encontro, data with the two of them. He won and she lost. He regretted putting her in jail. She no longer wore her nice long gloves. She had cuts along her arm from fights in jail. She was…much mais mean than she usually was.
Moss’s icy blue eyes widened with fear than narrowed to a glaring stare. “When?”
“Two days and two nights,” Rouge answered, scared to death.
“I should kill one of you and let one of you go,” Moss started to say.
“Kill me! Let her go!” Shadow blurted out. “Just don’t hurt her!” Moss looked shocked. Her icy blue eyes widened again. She grew a sly expression across her face. She walked behind Rouge’s chair. She pulled out a knife. Moss wrapped her arms around Rouge’s neck, faca ½ inch to Rouge’s neck. Rouge stretched out her neck to avoid the cut and death.
Shadow was running out of patience. He growled. “Mossriver! Put the faca down!”
“Why should I?” Moss asked. Her head close to Rouge, sly eyes.
“Because…” Shadow paused. He had to answer his own pergunta that he asked himself a dia ago. Was he in amor with his partner, Rouge the Bat?
“Because why?” Rouge started on the questions.
“Spit it out, Shadow! Why should I kill you and not Rouge?” Moss demanded, her voice raising.
Shadow was looking down at the floor. He looked up. He smiled softly. He opened his mouth.
“Because I fell in amor with her,” Shadow said softly.
