A thousand years ago, the angel Raziel mixed his blood with the blood of men and created the race of the Nephilim. Human-angel hybrids, they walk among us, unseen but ever-present, our invisible protectors. It is their job to protect the mundanes from the demons.
They call themselves Shadowhunters. They have black marks over their arms and back called Runes. Runes are drawen with a stele. They give the Shadowhunters powers, such as the ability to heal their wounds and give themselves courage. They burn the skin at first then cool and leave thick black marking, like tattoos.
There are also creatures called Downworlders. The Downworlders are Warlocks, Werewolves, vampiros and Faeries.
Demons are the main sorce of trouble in this roleplay. These Demons have no human form. They are as they are, frightening and horrible.
Mundanes, or humans, can only see them if they have the Sight.They can be clueless to the Shadowhunters and Downworlders but may find them later.
This roleplay takes place in Brooklyn, New York. Though you may travel to other places in New York. It is in the ano 2010. You can play as a Shadowhunter, Downworlder, or Demon. There is no to how many characters you have.
