I do like the whole message of the book, and the ending is spectacular, but it could be written a lot better. I like Holden but his narration was extremely annoying to me.

In general, I enjoyed it. However, I do believe that it was rather poorly written throughout some of it and parts of it were a bit frustrating to read. Of course, the ending was excellent and the hooker/Holden scene was also pretty good, even if it did seem kind of painful.
