This is in response to the question: 'What's your religion?' and I put it into an artigo because it was too big to fit inside the answer box.
So, this is basic cristianismo for @SilverFey.
There is only one God. God is a Trinity (translation: three in one, like a three-leaf clover): God the Father, God the Son (who is Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit.
God made everything and is all knowing, all powerful, eternal, love, the King of kings, holy (perfect) and immutable (doesn't change. Ever.)
jesus is God. jesus became a man. A human, just like us. jesus was (and is) sinless. jesus is the only way to God.
We were created in God's image; in God's likeness. We all have sinned (done wrong). Sin separates us from God. jesus took our place and died our death, so that we might be able to go and be with God (the Father).
jesus rose from the dead, breaking the power of spiritual death. God offers salvation for all mankind (people): girls, boys, the young, the old, people with dark skin, people with pale skin, the sick, the rich, the poor, the homeless, the homosexual, the pure, the outcasts…everyone.
And get this: Salvation is a free gift from God! You don’t have to do anything but accept it! Then you get to go to Heaven when you die and live with God forever and ever, free of pain, sickness and sadness! This is great news, but, unfortunately, with almost all good news, there is some bad news.
Those who reject jesus and refuse the gift of salvation will end up in God’s eternal (forever) prison called Hell. Hell is a place of sadness, pain and separation from God. Forever. It’s God’s place of punishment. Eternal punishment.
I can hear you asking, “How could a loving God let anyone go to Hell?”
True, He is a loving God, but we’ve got to remember that He’s also holy. And since He’s a holy God, he cannot look upon sin. He’s also just, meaning He has to punish sin.
And since He is loving, it’s not his desire for anyone to go to Hell. People choose to go to Hell por rejecting Him; no one goes to Hell kicking and screaming.
Then there’s the issue of Jesus’ return. He came to Earth once to save everyone, and He will return one dia to judge. On that day, Christians will be raised from the dead, and there will be a final judgment.
All whose names are in the Book of Life will go to be with jesus forever, but everyone else will have to face an eternity away from Jesus.
Now I can hear some people asking “Well, how do I get saved?” The answer is simple: just pound on Heaven’s door and beg for forgiveness. Ask God to save you. To be your king. To be your Lord and Saviour.
If anyone has read this and wants to become a child of God (aka a Christian), and is still unsure of how to pray, here’s a basic prayer that you can turn into your own:
Dear God, I’m a sinner. Please have mercy on me. Save me. I give my coração and life over to you now, Lord. Please forgive me for all my sins. Bring me into your family. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
Remember, you don't have to pray that specific prayer. It's just a sample to help you out.
Please feel free to ask perguntas in the comment section.

There are immortal stories on apaixonados and immortal frases on love. Even in the stories that ended in tragedy, amor has never failed but only the apaixonados have. They stand evergreen and are suitable for all ages of time, whatever is the advancement in technology and science. They are suitable.
