Has this ever happened to you?

I'm trying to go on meebo on this site (that little bar at the bottom of the screen in case you don't know) and it says "You are offline. Go online" I do that, and it says "Signing on. Please wait" So, I wait, and then it goes back to "You are offline" I tried signing on like 40 times but it won't let me. Has this ever happened to you? And how do I fix this?

click the X to get off the website and come back on

I can't stop using it. O have so many people talk to every dia on it, I would die if I stopped.
