Make a timeline of your música likes.

It could be your current or former música likes.

Here's mine:

Early 2000s:
-I was introduced to R&B, urban gospel, hip-hop, country, rock, and blues. I was also into cartoon openings from the likes of Danny Phantom, My Life as A Teenage Robot, etc.
Late 2000s to the early 2010s
-I was introduced to hip-hop and trap from the likes of Drake, Snoop Dogg, Pimp C, Plies, etc.

2010:
-I was introduced to the electropop craze, thanks to topo, início 40 radio. Radio was the only means for musical entertainment for me. I was also into the hip-hop trap craze to. Still am.

-2012:
-My nonbiological mum gave me a guitar. I stopped using it years later.

2013 on up
-I got into EDM genres, such as dubstep, progressive house, electro house, etc., via iHeartRadio. Til my school did away with the site.

-EDM is what drove me into wanting to produce music.

-Then, after I got my first laptop, I was diving headlong into other 'heavy' EDM genres, such as big room house, EDM trap, hard room house, jungleterror...

-As time progressed, I got into hardstyle, dancecore, deep house, and other forms of EDM.

-My first DAW was a free trial of FL studio, that I got in 2014. Hopefully, I can buy the latest version. I currently have an LMMS, a free música production software.

P.S.: It could be about música you've gotten into, música you stopped listening to, instruments, you've received, anything as far as music.

Yeah, it's a little concerning. But, I still live at início because my family is flat broke. We literally have to sell our house so...we were already fucked.

8 and under I enjoyed pop music

After that I really enjoyed some classical and older tunes while I was a ballroom dancer, the música really stuck with me.

Around 11ish I got into rap and hip hop

Enter the glorious edgy teens. I listened to a lot of rock music.

Late teens I started listening to video game/anime soundtracks, instrumentals, Ed Sheeran... Then I branched off into kpop.

Late teens to early 20s it was a lot of kpop and I discovered my favourite cantar voice Cho Kyuhyun.

Now I'm in my mid 20s and it seems to be back to rock music. And I amor to listen to just any aleatório tracks that sound good across every genre.

Late 90s - Mid 2000s:
- Christian contemporary piano música because that's all I was exposed to (my mom was a piano teacher)

2006ish:
- I was obsessed with Alexa Vega's "Game Over" from the Spy Kids 3 soundtrack. Like that's it

2007/2008:
- I thought Hannah Montana was the shit.

2009/2010:
- Linkin Park and evanescence were mostly what I listened to, but I was introduced to some other modern rock bands as well, like Flyleaf, Seether, and Papa Roach. I discovered Celtic Woman and Loreena McKennitt and really took a liking to Celtic music. There were also aleatório pop songs I liked that everyone in my middle school listened to. I watched titanic around this time, too, and became obsessed with the titanic soundtrack.

2011:
- I was introduced to symphonic metal and everything changed. Nightwish became my favorito band in a matter of weeks (still are to this day), and through them I discovered folk/Celtic METAL was also a thing. I was obsessed with classical sopranos thanks to Tarja and dabbled in listening to opera. Symphonic metal also introduced me to death metal vocals and I grew to really, really like them.

2012-2018: Dabbling in mais metal genres, a lot of them subgenres of symphonic metal, i.e. symphonic gótico metal, symphonic black metal, symphonic folk metal. Atmospheric black metal was a gem I discovered; Aquilus is amazing. I was introduced to melodic death metal mostly due to Arch Enemy. Acid Witch mixes death metal with psychedelic metal and doom metal and I freaking loved it. Crom is a very catchy power metal band, too. Also Alestorm is a classic. On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, I realized I also like bluegrass.

2019 - Present Day: Delving into mais metal genres outside of symphonic metal, i.e. funeral doom metal, old school Scandinavian death metal (Dismember's my favorite), epic doom metal (okay basically a lot of doom metal). R e a l l y started to get into Chthonic, Finntroll, and Fleshgod Apocalypse in the past year. I've also discovered the joy of Nordic/pagan/experimental folk música like Wardruna and Heilung (okay those are mostly what I listen to xD). Additionally, I've become mais invested in classical música in the past year, although I generally just listen to symphonies.

My main obsession, and has been for quite some time, is Eluveitie (they mix melodic death metal with Celtic música and I amor them)!

My memory is shit but here we go;

Around 2007/2008;
I was mostly into country music. I was little and it was my mom's favorito music. Mostly Dixie Chicks.

2011-ish;
Taylor rápido, swift and Owl City. I was like 10 so-

2013-2015;
I was in my emo, "I'm different and nobody likes me" phase. I would listen to Green Day, Three Days Grace, Skillet, and whatever else I could steal from my older sister's laptop to put on my MP3 player.

2016-2017;
Still emo, but mais matured tastes. I liked evanescence and nickelback for the most part.

2018;
This ano was a bit of a blur in my memory. But I listened to a bunch of old songs from my childhood and stuff like that. Plus some 50s música since I had gotten into Fallout. I was also starting to get super into Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz, and The Neighbourhood.

2019-present;
Last ano was a mix of everything I mentioned before after 2016. Now I'm into Hozier, Frank Sinatra, Queen, David Bowie, and whatever else strikes my fancy from my clusterfuck of música tastes.
