It depends on the situation. Like if the animal is sick, like has a serious disease or it's in pain than no it shouldn't be illegal. But if a person is just putting an animal down just because they don't want the responsiblity or they want to punish their child, then yeah, it should be illegal. People who put their pets down for ridiculous reasons should definitely be illegal and they should never own a pet again.

Only if is necessary. Like for a serious reason. Nobody likes to put their pet down when they get seriously sick but sometimes we've got no choice. Nobody likes to give up a best friend but one has to give up what they amor so it can be free. Only a complete a**head would put a pet down for no reason. Except a reason such as not wanting them anymore

They legally, morally pulled the plug on my paternal grampa. I had a stuffed dog which my Mom threw away, but all children grow out of their 🧸. I now have a real, living, breathing dog who I amor ❤️ and I would never want it to be put down, even if it got really sick.

Back n 2015 my dog had to be put down bc he was suffering. He could not stand at all because his bones got rlly weak. Putting him down was the only thing we could do. We did not want to see him like how he was. So i would say it depends

Depends on the reason; yes if it's being put down just because it's not wanted. No if it's a medical thing. I've had to put two pets down because they had an unfixable illness or injury and I didn't want to see them in so much pain.
