Why do most people think gatos are evil?

i dont really hate or like cats.....

as far i have heard , gatos are usually compared to dogs....

1)cats arent really thankful like dogs
2) they arent loyal like cachorros ( if a u feed a stray dog , it will be loyal to u like a pet dog , where as gatos arent really )
3) gatos and tigres are of same family...it has nothing to do with same family but yeah some people think gatos are evil because of this fact....
4)that piercing look they have like they can see through ur soul.....

so basically if they arent compared to cachorros , they arent that evil....

i dont have any personal hatred towards cats... its just that i dont care much about it...i find gatinhos cute! ^^

The 'witch' and 'devil' connotations I guess. Idk, I think that they're cute, I'm just mais of a dog person.

Because many gatos don't really like new people and new environments and so they're usually seen as mean and crabby. I work at a pet boarding facility and, on average, the cachorros are much, much friendlier than the gatos I've seen.

I have no idea, never knew them to be a fear. I amor gatos anyways, no matter the breed or how odd they may look. I'd probably have a fear of wild gatos like tigres and cougars since they can kill you. But regardless, I don't get the fear.
