Why don't you like 'who's prettier' questions?

Well, I am in a similar barco as you, to be honest. Can't say that I dislike them. Just that they are not my cup of chá most of the time. There are some cases where my interest has been piqued as well though. The thing that might have annoyed me a little bit is the frequency of these type of perguntas and their number when comparing them to other kinds of posts, making the ''Random'' Club look mais like the ''Beauty Contest'' Club. There are also times where the same kind of pergunta is being asked over and over again just to reach the same outcome. A few arguments have also been sparked over that fact. Then again, it is still aleatório and anyone can post whatever they feel strongly about. It is understandable. I guess, in the end, my desire to see mais variety in the Club plays a key role in this. Just me !!!!

I mostly dont like them that much because I usually dont really know them and dont really care for them, yet they are some of the most overdone and seen type of pesquisas around fanpop - specifically Random.

Its kind of annoying, but to be honest, I dont care too much about them as long as it isnt a way to go "OH THIS PERSON IS SOOOO UGGLLY AND SO AND SO IS SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL AND THE OTHER PERSON SUCCKSSS"

For the most part I dont care. Sometimes I participate but I think its just a little over saturated

What I dislike about them is when somebody makes a pesquisa like that just to put somebody down and praise the other choice. And then makes 10+ troll acc just to make their favorito be in the lead which disproves the point of whole poll.
There are some people who don`t know what 'respect different opinions' mean.

Tbh I am the middle. Like you I feel like they should be asked in moderation BUT a few of people on this site actively seek to beat people down for their choices. Not to mention sometimes it's laced with biases.If the aforementioned issues aren't there. It's fine to ask in moderation.

I don't hate em or anything. There are just ALOT of them and it's not really something I am the type to cadastrar-se in and take part in so from the perspective of outside looking in, it just appears to me like aleatório is covered in pesquisas I have no opinions on. Kinda like what Riku said about it being oversaturated

I don't mind them with fictional characters, and I actually like them with the Symphonic Metal vocalists because some users who didn't know them previously may be introduced to their beautiful voices through those polls.

In general, though, the "who's prettier" perguntas are just about comparing aleatório celebrities I don't care for to each other, but it doesn't piss me off or anything. What does piss me off is when a certain male user who claims to preach gender equality makes a completely biased pesquisa to praise one woman while putting down another. Newsflash: If you call women you dislike ugly, as if their looks had anything to do with their competence/incompetence, then you're just being shallow.

I'm not saying the pesquisas are bad (except the biased ones); people are allowed to create pesquisas about anything they want. There's just nothing in it for me.

Because they're overposted and the same people keep showing up. It's not the pesquisa idea itself necessarily but mais so the repetitiveness of them.

I'm pretty neutral to them tbh? Its not a topic I'm very interested in discussing most of the time, and usually neither of the people are really to my taste so they look kind of same-y to me anyway.
Plus it seems like when one's been posted, like 30 mais pop up pretty soon after and the comments on them always seem to inevitably devolve into squabble. But that's not really a problem with the pesquisas themselves.

I also don't really like rating people too much on their beauty? Not that I dont like to admire atractive people, but comparing one definitely photoshopped stranger's face to another feels weird.

I dont really have too much of a problem with them tho.

I don't dislike that kind of question, but I think that pergunta was overdone, and also beauty is subjective for me so I feel like it was a bit unfair to compare anyone's beauty to others.

Because they're spammed and make up like 80% of the pesquisas activity or something and I'm sick of looking at them and I refuse to pick any option. I don't know these people.
They're all pretty much titled the same too. There's barely any variety. They could duplicate the pesquisa and I bet most wouldn't even notice.
