I first discovered Sluggin' in May of 2017 when getting ready to graduate from [Redacted] High School. I would play this song after making low budget class films with my friends for these school projects. The melody of this song brings me back to the great moments with my friends back in the baía Area. Then still for my last summer in the Bay, I'd cruise with this on blast all day. Trap's always been part of my life since I was a freshman, and I wanted to end it just like that as a senior. I remember I played this on the last dia of school ever on graduation, knowing we would be bumping this shit all summer, and playing the melodic outro of the song brought me a great hope for the American future.
