Would you agree that sometimes a fantasia can be so much better than a reality?

You're just one of those pessimists that view everything as terrible without even thinking logically or whatever. You are living in a "cruel world" Whether you like it or not. When you live the fantasia you go back there. This world isn't all that bad and the fact you allow everything to bother you says alot about your character,ideals and personality.

Stop crying and moaning so much and understand good things we have in life because there's no telling if we'll have all of those things forever. This world is in balance. There's bad and good etc. Like riku I allow myself to be caught up in fantasia sometimes but that won't deter me from being realistic.

I mean imagining things can be kind of comforting and nice.
But if you put the work into your reality to make it how you want it to be, then nothing beats it.
It's pretty easy to brush off reality as 'horrible' and 'cruel' while putting in zero effort to change your current situation. Happiness doesn't come from nothing.

It may [seem] better since they are an escape, they can be happier or mais depressing and either way it can usually take away from reality and make it easier to handle, but - no.

As nice as it may [seem] and as it may [feel] reality always holds number one and better simply because it is real. Very little that comes from a fantasia will carry on to progress into something real and, most times, when carried out of hand, Ive come to find all it does is save in the short run, destroy in the long run.

Its like a pain pill. Take them occasionally when you need it, but take them too often or too much and it will be the death of you.

That being said, I am one of the absolute largest culprits of using a fantasia to get away from it; I recognize it does me no good and perhaps even harm in the long run.

My entire existence is a fantasy

As someone who does have a habit of preferring fantasia over the real world (for obvious reasons), I don't think you should spend too much time in your head. As overwhelming as the real world can be, we cannot ignore it forever. There are problems and issues out there that NEED our attention.

And there's a lot of them :|

Although, I guess its pretty funny that all the problems you listed are all human related and largely affects just people.

That is pretty subjective. There are the kind of fantasies that indeed can be considered better than a person's current reality. However, secluding ourselves in an Imaginative World por rejecting the real one as a whole is another matter entirely. I agree with many others before me. This is no way to live. When it comes to our reality, it depends on the person. Each one has their own views and stance on Life as well as their own personal dealings throughout it. Not everyone shares the same outlook. Certainly, our World isn't perfect and a whole lot of issues can be found anywhere. What will change if you run away though? If those fantasies of yours are so much better, why don't you do your best to apply them on your reality too? What if everyone actually confronted that cruel reality instead of running away from it on their own? I personally believe this a much better option.

Anyway, I can see your reasoning since I am quite a Daydreamer myself and for sure, major improvements are needed but I can't say that an alternative like this is the ONLY path !!!!

In the long run, basing your life solely on fantasia isore harmful than anything. It won't erase all the problems in the world, it won't help you with your own issues, simply put it won't fix anything in providing an escape nor is it possible.
A few years atrás as a amargo, amarga & angsty pre-teen I might've thought things differently but now, I rather live in reality noatter how harsh it may be over a false world that would only keep me in blissful ignorance.

Absolutely! I amor a lot of things in real life, but to be honest I prefer the universe of movies, TV Shows and Dreams a lot more!! I'm not trying to escape or anything I just amor it far mais for damn many reasons.

But then again, we wouldn't really have any of those things if it wasn't for reality xD

100% all the time, I'm such an escapist. But some times reality suffices. For example I've always dreamed of meeting Lana and having a long conversation with her. I got to meet her very briefly in reality and I'm super thankful and feel super blessed. I think that sometimes you just have to compromise in a sense; it may not be as good as it is in your head but don't let extremely high expectations ruin a good thing.
