So now are there any differences between J-Pop and K-Pop or are these international musical genres about the same?

Do you know what J-pop and K-pop mean?

Japanese pop música and Korean pop music. The biggest difference is the language. If you pay attention to what they are actually saying. There's a difference.

One is Korean.
One is Japanese.

It's pop música (although other genres fall under kpop and Jpop too). Pop música has a similar sound wherever you are in the world, only difference being the language being spoken.

Sometimes a deciding factor in people's preference between kpop and Jpop lies within the visual side of música videos, because both genres put an emphasis on the visual portrayal of the música whether that's set, dancing, outfits etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong; K-pop puts mais emphasis on dance then J-pop does. And I think J-pop has...stranger visuals. I also believe that J-pop tends to be mais cutesy than sexy where as K-pop is the reverse.

But this is only based on my (probably) limited observation.
