Does it annoy you when kids and/or teens call themselves things that they really aren't and support things they know nothing about?

It's one thing if they've done their research and stuff, but doing it just so they look smarter or so they'll be liked is another in my opinion. :I

Yup, I really hate it when people pretend like they know everything. I never used to get annoyed por it and then my sister hit her middle school years.

Tbh there's alot of issues that isn't so black and white. It's like I could understand why some people get pissed off if said person uses "etc" in an extremely negative context or a ditsy tone. But still just because it's a pet peeve doesn't mean it's morally good or bad. Like for example if I use the word "Retarded" for anything besides an actual retarded person in its most literal sense. I'd get flamed when not too long atrás it wasn't that bad to call someone that. A few psychological terms have negative connotation YET "retarded" is the only one that people mainly bother about. Like for an example I am black but if someone use a racist joke and depending on the connotation chances are I may not be annoyed. And there's alot of people like that. Alot of times people that make jokes about being "OCD" etc tend to not necessary be insulting people who actually had it. People will make life of alot of things. For most scenarios I don't think it's necessarily morally wrong unless its something I highly disagree with. It depends on what you agree and disagree with. So Imma stay neutral on this.

I agree with you there, since once someone's an adult it's a lot harder to change.
