Why am I coming here of all places to make a serious life decision? I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP.

I've been online schooled since 4th grade and its almost summertime after 5th... My mom want's me to do my 3rd ano of online school for my first ano of middle school. Yeah, I don't care if you guys know I'm 11. I'm really mature for my age. Anyways, I kind of want to go to public school because all I have for a locker is the picture below and I'm growing up and how would I know it's harsh if I don't get out there and try, and... I've just been weighing out the options and everything, because there are advantages and also disadvantages to both. I'm really stressed out and did I also mention I'm very indecisive? *sighing* There's just a lot on my mind and I know por posting this I'm breaking my role playing this but you know... Please help me, I need a serious answer, not some funny biz, And don't just post something flimsy like on TV that "change peoples' lives" BUT IT WON'T FREAKING HELP. Sorry, I'm venting, aren't I?

Thank you all. I have made up my mind. I lost all my friends in 3rd grade and... I didn't like it. I'm turning into socially awkward pinguim with online school.

lol the fact that you're 11 shows.

Public middle school is basically the worst thing ever (closely followed por public high school), but you have to go. Like you said it's majorly important for socialization as hormones are kicking in and shit.

And I mean, I was never bullied or anything so I can't attest to middle school 'toughening you up' in that regard, but I am queer and middle school is when that started manifesting itself, and school's good for socially exploring who you are and making the kinds of friends you want to hold on to. For as shit as middle school is, there are good laughs and memories and friends you don't wanna miss out on.

And I know a couple kids who have been homeschooled through middle school but then came to public high school, and they're weird. Like, they were never properly socialized so they're nice and all but they're awkward and are ill-equipped to deal with certain social situations. The fact that they were homeschooled could seriously impair their futures because of those lacking social skills.

So go.

I know that feeling. I have been attending online school for the end of 8th grade to 10th grade. I've already missed the first 2 years of high school and I feel like I just wasted those years of being a teenager por doing nothing but staying at início on the internet.
I'm going to be in 11th grade this ano and I plan to go to a public school since I only have 2 years left of being a kid. (And I want to have a life and friends again).

I think you should attend public school. You might regret it if you don't. And I know kids in public school can be crazy and there will always be someone who doesn't like you, but you need to learn to not mind them and just enjoy being young, before you regret it.

I did online school for two years. I started going to public school this year. It was a great decision for me. I've made mais friends than i've ever had before and am taking really fun, challenging classes.
But i am a junior in high school who turned to online schooling after being bullied relentlessly since starting school. I think school is downright awful until maybe high school. If i were you, i would try public schooling for a while, and if you don't like it, transfer back to online schooling.

Good luck to you.
