Well I don't think it's just cheese, i think just dairy in general can help you sleep. So milk, yogurt, ect.

Pull your travesseiro up around your shoulders while laying on your back, arms to your sides and legs shoulder-width apart.Tense up each part of your body individually, starting with your toes and working your way up. Every muscle in your body, saving your brain for last. Concentrate on your breathing, hold each breathe for 15 segundos before releasing, do that about five-ten times. Then roll over until you're comfy, think of soft, warm things, like fluffy towels that have been over the heater, freshly ironed cloths, and warm facecloths, think of how sleepy you are, and drift off.
(If this gets best answer, please don't bother with props. <3)

K. Thaaaankkkksss. And what is the muscle tensing supposed to help with?

You tense, hold it tensed up for about five-ten seconds, then relax. It helps you concentrate on relaxing all of your muscles, as some are tense without you even knowing; it's kind of like a check-over, gets you to relax very completely.

Well, I would say to just try closing your eyes and think of happy thoughts, or listen to some calm music, like rain noises. And if that doesn't work, then count 'one Mississippi, two Mississippi, etc' in your head, and when you stumble and start loosing track of the numbers, you know your falling asleep. Hope that helps

I'd try some exercises. Usually fatigue causes you to become sleepy. Listen to some relaxing music. Like classical music. Or my favorito song. It seems somewhat relaxing. link so you can try that. You can also take a nice long bath, or shower. That always helps me. Drink some tea, or hot chocolate. Just try and relax. Hope I helped..Good luck! x

Might I recommend drinking a glass of warm leite (which I prefer to flavor with morango Nestle Quik)...

...and/or...

...Johnson's Bedtime Bath & Lotion. All I know is after each use I could barely keep my eyes open -- and I wasn't even the one being bathed! Pleasant dreams...

I have the same problem. Here are a few things you can do.

1. Get up early in the morning. You'll be a bit tired when you go to bed, which should help.
2. Make sure you don't have to pee. If you have to pee, there's no way you'll get to sleep, and getting up never helps you sleep. Use the bathroom before you get in bed.
3. Drink a cup of warm leite before you go to bed. Helps you feel sleepy.
4. Drink some water, too. If your thirsty, you can't sleep. DO NOT keep the water por your bed! If you do that, you may find yourself sitting up to drink, and the mais you mover around, the longer it will take.
5. Find a comfortable position and stick with it. Unless the comfortable position stops being comfortable, don't mover around. If you move, all the sleepiness you've gathered will go and you have to start over.
6. Make sure everything is done before you go to bed, like homework and studying. Also, write down your worries in a diary or something. It gets the worry out and helps you sleep.
Hope that helps you as much as it helped me! :P

PS: okay, listening to relaxing música might help you, I don't know. But if you're anything like me, get it completely quiet. If you have pets, make sure that they're fed and there's no way for them to get in your room. Try to make sure they're inside, (unless they're outdoor cats) because otherwise they might wake you up wanting to get in. I would also recommend closing your door.
