Is animê "mainstream"?

Don't kill me.

I'm wondering... Everyone here talks about how they don't like "mainstream" stuff (which is popular stuff everyone likes).

And if you look at fanpop, almost everyone seems to like anime... wait no, amor anime...

So I'm wondering, doesn't that make it mainstream? Or at least on fanpop?

I wouldn't say it is mainstream due to the fact there's alot of animê haters still on fanpop. And I MEAN tons of animê haters. It is popular but it is nowhere near mainstream.

Twilight,Justin Bieber,One Direction, and Hunger Games,etc are the mainstream subjects.

... What? The animê or the photo? If you are referring to the animê then It's one of my favourites: 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' if you are talking about the fotografia then... I dunno TT TT
