urgent, URGENT help required

i got my hair cut without wanting that much off and now when i put it in a high ponytail it looks strange. i asked my dad about possible hair extensions and he didn't disagree but told me to ask mum. i started to ask her but she cut me off. i don't want it permanent I just want something in the mean time while it grows back. the one i want is only $11.78 and its a clip in. how can i convince her???

actually thats a good point but its for sale on ebay so i actually need to convince them but if it wasnt on ebay i would do that
