They're okay if the child wants to do them. But only if the child wants to do them and isn't pressured into doing them like those kids on Toddlers and Tiaras. If the kid wants to do it, then yeah the parents should let them and support them in it. But forcing the kids to do it is just ridiculous and tasteless, and the parents who do that have no class or dignity whatsoever.
I think they're cute and there's no problem with them. EXCEPT when the mothers are pushing their kids to win and convincing them that they have to be prettier than everyone. And the little kids start believing it. Then I just hate it.
The only things I don't like about them is when parents are forcing their kids to do it and how the kids think beauty is what's on the outside which is so not true. Also I don't like how the kid thinks they can do and get whatever they want.
They're stupid and I don't know how the hell some of you stand them. I admit it, I've watched it a few times to make fun of that bullshit, but I've got no idea as to how these parents think it's okay to push their kids like this. If the kids WANT to do it, then that's at least a little better. I still think even if they want to they're too young for fake hair, tan, eyelashes, exc. Also, I don't get why they have kids on Toddlers & Tiaras who are like 9 or 10... They are NOT toddlers....

Yeah. I hate Toddlers and Tiaras. One time I saw this episode where a five ano old girl was having her eyebrows waxed and she was all freaking out. I was like, "What the hell is wrong with that mother? Is she psycho?!"
yeah i hate it:D i mean all it is are stuck up moms makeing there children look like little plastic dolls.i also dont like how the kids are wearing all that make up and crap.
i mean if the parent want teir kids to do it so badly why dont the parent just do it?
I hate them. They're demeaning and disgusting. How can you put makeup on a three ano old's face? In the end, these little girls are looking like Kelly bonecas (Barbie's little sister). Little girls are supposed to run and be free, not practice a stupid routine! (Unless they actually want to do the routine :P)
...Ugh. I hate beauty pageants in general because they're a contest of causing young girls to become full of themselves and "Who can make the greatest nice facade to the audience?". But forcing little kids into it... they should be out playing with their friends and having fun being a kid, not worrying about their hair and makeup and trying to win petty contests to have some plastic tiara to shove on a shelf and forget about.
It depends, it's fine if the kid actually wants to do them. Sometimes on those shows I see parents who force their kids to do that, I think that's just wrong.
I think they are fucking pathetic. They make me boil up in rage. Children should por outside picking their nose, eating dirt and having fun, being a child. Those mothers should be arrested for child abuse, what with fake tans, false nails, false teeth. Its effing ridiculous. They are just jealous because they are too ugly to compete. It not the childs dream, it's the mothers. You know what those little toddlers are spoilt rotten and become little shits, full of disrespect and pride. They need disappline. I can't handle it, it makes me soo angry. It's not right on every level. Look at Jon benay Ramsey, if her parents had not exposed her to the media and made her famous at only age what 3?5? then she would still be a happy 18 ano old. instead she was brutally murdered in her basement, where some freaking old man raped her and threatned to chop her head off if the parents called the police.. all because she was famous, creeps become obbessed and stalk, then talk.
