What does it mean if you get slimed at the Kid's Choice Awards?

Call me dumb, but I've never watched it and I don't know what it signify's. Did they do bad, good, what? One of my friends was talking about it today and ripped me a new one when I didn't know what it was. Please inform me. Thanks!
