Why does everyone hate on Nickelback?

I'm not a fã of them but I think they are pretty good. Everyone is always making jokes about them and I don't understand why. I really don't see what's wrong with them.

I know what u mean but I feel like they are not just criticized. It's just sorta like a trend mainly on the Internet.

I dunno. I've never seen anyone hate on nickelback before, although my friend said some people were on facebook last week. Maybe it's for the same reason that people hate on Justin Beiber, Hannah Montana, or Lady Gaga. They're all popular bands/singers, and people get mad when their own favorito bands aren't as popular.
