I dont understand why people say rape as a joking term. It is very insulting to people who have been raped and it is NOT somthing to be joking about. I know a bunch of people who have actually been through that and it is not a pleasnt thing. Poeple n

I know how you feel. On All is Brawl, they use the word "rape" as a competitive Smash term. For example: "You beat me online, I'd rape you offline". BTW, that's the name of an actual AiB group. It's annoying and just plain wrong.

Yes of course they know what it means (Tho my lil sis once said she wanted to rape justin beiber and she is really young so im pretty sure she just thought it meant sex) and as for the insensitive thing, well it is insesitive and an idiotic thing to say but when you say it like that anything could be offensive, saying a cup broke could cause somone who lost a toe to a cup breaking on their foot to burst into tears, no matter how many offensive terms we stop people using their will always be mais around the corner, as for gay i use that as an insult but i dont find it offensive (i am Bi) so yeah...... Rape maybe not people should stop that but as for gay if THAT upsets you..... GET OVER IT!!!!

i do not use gay as an offencive term i couldnt care less whose gay whose por or what evr there sexuality is. for rape yes i know what it is and like it is horrible but like if some of my guy friends who are pervs will like rub my back and im like RAPE! Rape... Rape must be incrível physically and mentally painful! And for me, just the thought of gynecologists or tampons is physically and mentally painful! I can't even imagine... *shivers* Rapists are monsters.
And when "gay" is used as "bad/wrong" I get so pissed. People should not be judged por their sexuality in any way except when it's about sexuality. I am feeling mais and mais like a lesbian lately, but I don't feel different as a person. Gay is NOT equal bad/wrong!!!

I completely agree with you. Yes, they know what it means, they just don't care. It's so sad that today the world is full of so many cruel and selfish people. You go out today and the amount of bullies there are is ridiculous. It makes me want to cry that people can be so heartless.

Okay, I'm gonna tell my honest opinion about this now. I'm not gay, and I've never been raped, so I don't know how it feels when someone makes jokes like that. But I'll try to answer this as... honest as I can.

Jokes about rape is not cool. Simple as that. It's painful, heartbreaking and embarrasing. Just the thought of me getting dragged into a dark place and then being touched on places where I shall not speak of and then left for dead horrifies me. Even when people look at some artwork from other people, and type in comment boxes such as "Oh man horrible, so much eyerape!" should get this thought in their head before considering making insults such as this. Not cool.

As for the gay jokes... I've used to make those a lot. Actually, I still do, and I'm sorry about it. I guess I feel really bad for the people who I upset telling those jokes. I could also say to deal with it, since I'm autistic, and can handle autism jokes fine... but I'm not gonna say that, since other people with autism would find that offending as well. I guess it's just me.

Anyway, those jokes could really be taken as offensive. You should only tell them to your 12-year old friends, since any older people would probably know the seriousness of the joke, and the younger people wouldn't even understand what you're talking about.

I know that it is nothing to joke about. I was two young to remember, but my two best friends that that has happened to were not. One of them doesn't show it, but the other is still very depressed por it (she never told me) but i can tell.

People will probably never stop joking about it until something that traumatic happens to them.
