Everybody can just trade stuff - like they used to. I dont think they had so many problems with stealing back then. Money might be easier, in a way, but still. And I would make it so you had to work if you were over a certain age and under another (unless you have a disorder/illness) so somethig would still be getting done.

I can only assume you don't get back on fanpop anymore, but if you ever do crawl back here, I want to let you know that you are a real idiot. Money is absolutely necessary for a complex economy to run because it's impossible to determine supply and demand, and therefore how much of what products should be produced without money.

Surely government is a bit mais than just free trade, economic activity and infrastructure though. Someone needs to prevent corporations dumping toxic waste in rivers, or ripping up half the land to mine for coal, or putting poisonous stuff into the air we breathe. A safety net is needed so the poorest don’t just starve, and someone has to make sure that workers aren’t paid $1 per hour. Education must be subsided so it’s accessible to ordinary people. We need diplomatic relations with other countries. Someone needs to do all these things in order for society to function properly, and basically the only body with the power/ means/ will to do so is government.
