The seguinte morning, Ash and his friends waiting to get in the bus in a single file line! Serena is in front of the nervous Pokemon master!

Ash, Brock, and Misty headed on their way to Ecruteak City and once they arrived, Koga arrived and challenged Ash to a battle. Ash sent in pikachu and Noctowl while Koga sent in Venomoth and Crobat. Venomoth used Sleep Powder, which Noctowl blew away with Whirlwind. Crobat used Wing Attack, which pikachu dodged and used Thunderbolt. (Meanwhile with Team Rocket) Team Rocket were watching the battle go on. Ash, Misty, and Brock were walking along their way to Olivine City when they noticed a brown bird Pokemon with a alho-poró in its hand darting from árvore to tree. This made Misty uncomfortable knowing that the Pokemon's trainer was nearby.
