(unrelated MJ question)... but I need your help please.

So I was certain this boy wanted to kiss cuz he held my hands and got really close to me and looked into my eyes. But as soon as tried to kiss him he moved away and said
"Wooo! What are you doing?!"
I said "You were about to kiss me right?"
He said "No" keeps flirting with me everytime I see him so I know he really likes me and wants to be mais than friends with me. Why wouldn't he kiss me?
Now I feel completely stupid and embarrassed and a little hurt.
