i think its a conspricay in the música industry beacause michael is'nt hear to stop it so yeah. but how can she make it up to there she a bad signer id rather listen to that ennoying ring sound insteed of listening to her.

Um her songs only #4 on the billboard hot 100 & if it hasn't got to #1 yet I doubt it will. But it is a lot easier to get #1s these days than back in '87 b/c mais people have tvs, radios, computers, mais money etc so its easier to get your música heard & to buy it.

In the end though, it really doesn't matter how many #1s an artist has. I mean I like Katy Perry but her música isn't exactly very meaningful (bar Firework). It's música to dance to and have fun to but that's about it, and those songs usually find it easier to chart, than songs like Man In The Mirror or Heal the world or Earth Song b/c people seem to have a hard time accepting that there's problems in the world so they tend to avoid those kind of songs, especially 15+ years ago. Back then people didn't even accept global warming was happening.

Well, sooner or later this had to happend. Realise that since Michael is dead, people have gone tired of him and they've become fãs of artists who write new songs.

In future Michael will have no chance of beating them because he's dead, therefore he wont have the chance of challenging them. Sad, but it is the truth.

no not gonna happen.nope.the king of pop will never be beaten. there is none as sexy,talented,good looking or as nice a person as michael jackson so none can beat his record

I believe Michael Jackson Himself; if he were still alive, would not upset or angered about Katy Perry outselling him. Michael Just wanted to be happy in his life, wanted away from the fame, wanted his privacy and especially wanted to be there for his children. His children meant the world to him and they always came first before his career. So what Katy Perry Outsells Michael. I am pretty sure Michael would be applauding her for the accomplishment
