Without Rory, Amy and the Doctor could have been together! She loves him more than she loves Rory, a fact that she fails to admit, evn to herself. Amy doesn't remember Rory when he is erased... so why even include him in the beginning? And if Rory is going to make some miraculous reappearance... WTF!! With Rory gone, Amy can have everything she ever wanted, and never have to grieve for her non-existent fiance! The point is: Don't put Rory back into the picture. He's gone, and that's exactly how it should be.
