Before you pick someone other than Catelyn, consider these things:
1) Her whole point on the show - and especially in the books - is to be a mother, to care for her children. Everything she does is for her children. I would be a horrible mother and I don't think I'll ever want children.
2) Even though we have some similar personality traits, she is still quite different from me with her whole traditional sense of looking at the world (which is more explored in the books), like her wanting women to be like ladies, and to be honest, if I were her, I would not have freed Jaime. It messed up a lot of shit. I love her, but it did.
3) If you ship me and Robb, and think I'm like Catelyn, you basically ship Robb/Catelyn. There is a nice mental image for you.

Sorry, I just had to :P After Catelyn I think it's either Jorah or Robb. Maybe Jorah, 'cause I don't think I could ever have the patience to be someone's servant, no matter how much I loved them.

Don't be mad or sad but I think that you're less like Jorah than Cat (not that you remind me of Cat)
But I think Jorah and Sansa are the exact opposites of you while you & Cat share few qualities!

And as much as I love the ship that is Robchel I don't choose who is less like you by thinking if I ship him/her with Robb xP
I mean I think I'm mostly like Kurt in Glee and I ship myself with Marley, it doesn't mean anything because in no universe would Kurt/Marley exist!!!

^ Well, I'm not mad, you can think what you want, but for a while being compared to Catelyn has been like the worst insult I've heard, and I've heard a lot of them. Because I, personally, can't see her as anything but Robb's mother. And it's just always going to be that way. It's not the same with Ned at all, even though he is Robb's father. Being connected to Ned is like the best compliment ever. I don't know what it is. Maybe it really is the fact that Catelyn is a mother and I've never valued motherly features in people, and I don't want to think I'd have any of those in me.
I think I share a quality or two with everyone on this list, but Jorah and Catelyn are the least like me that are still left, so it's not like I mind you picking him.
But the fact that which character you (or anyone) think I'm like DOES matter in shipping me and Robb, if you think about it. Because I assume you ship me and Robb because you think we would work as a couple (among other reasons), and if you think I'm like Catelyn, you think a person like Catelyn would fit in a relationship with Robb. I'm not saying you connect me to Catelyn, but if you DID. That was my point :P So it is connected, which characters people think you're like and who they ship you with.
But I am relieved you don't connect me to Catelyn because I've actually met people who ship Robb/Catelyn and I think I'm still not done throwing up due to the mental image of that. Sibling incest, totally fine with me. But mother and son? Jesus fucking christ.
