Ugh. I watch both shows and these are the worst fandoms I've ever been part of. I honestly don't know which one annoys me more. I think overall GG, but right now TVD.

Oh goodness... I watch both shows as well, and there ARE some amazing people in both fandoms, but damn there are some seriously bat-shit insane people in both fandoms as well.

Overall... i think Gossip Girl is the worst. I mean yes, I've encountered some nasty TVD fans, mainly on Tumblr, but the way that a lot of Chuck/Blair fans have been treating people lately... I mean come on, this whole 'Chair Factory' business where they've been going around sending threatening hate messages and talking about how they will destroy anything pro-dair... Yeah, that is way worse than anything I've seen in other fandoms.
