Is it okay to kiss someone on the first encontro, data if it would be their first kiss?

I just went on a movie encontro, data with a guy I really like, when he was dropping me off, I had the perfect time to kiss him and I didn't. But if I did kiss him it would have been both of our first kiss. Should I have kissed him? Oh por the way, we're 11.
