I saw Imagine dragões over three years atrás at the Velour, a dimly lit and intimate música hovel in downtown Provo. That stage was small, the building had a 250 person capacity and the band was one that seemed to still be finding its direction. That was not the same band I saw tonight playing for a crowd of over 8,000 in a full-blown rock show at the UCCU Events Center.

Yahoo!, the mammoth online portal, is in the show, concerto biz now, with a new tour that played the Pageant on Wednesday night.
Yahoo! On the Road is hitting 27 cities; the twist is that each city gets a different headliner. John Legend, Kendrick Lamar, Fall Out Boy, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and the Lumineers are among the headliners in various cities. Imagine dragões and Owl City performed at the St. Louis stop.

Imagine dragões sold out the Pageant in March; Owl City also played the Pageant in March in a separate show, making the Yahoo! On the Road selections for St. Louis look a little unfair....
